Position Description:

Join a clinic developed as part of the Super Clinic Program. A brand-new, state-of-the art facility, you will enjoy working in a $5 million purpose-built complex that is also an accredited teaching practice.

The practice focuses on both chronic disease management and acute care and is staffed by experienced administration staff, two practice nurses and a dedicated practice manager.

Access to allied health professionals includes a diabetes educator, dietitian, exercise physiologist, mental health nurse, podiatrist, speech pathologist and a social worker.

Ideally your interest in men’s health or occupational health will assist you to quickly build your practice in this fully procedural clinic.

There is also the option to participate in procedural work (ED, surgery, obstetrics, and anaesthetics) and hold VMO rights at the local hospital attached to the clinic.

Holding vocational registration, coupled with experience working in a rural setting will see you support GP Registrars and Deakin IMMERSe Students as they learn and develop under your guidance.

Practice Details:

Located just over four-hours west of Melbourne, you will be located in the service centre for the surrounding district with vibrant commercial and shopping precincts.

Situated on the coastline, this  area is an angler’s paradise, and, being a coastal town, you will have access to some of the best surf on the western-side of Bells Beach and can watch the passing whales as they follow their migratory path.

There is an active cultural community and a large variety of first class sporting facilities and associated clubs which encourage family participation.
