Join an innovative and state of the art clinical practice that is at the forefront of quality improvement, located in one of Victoria’s most established rural areas.

Replacing a Doctor who is relocating, you will begin working in a full-time capacity within a supportive team in a mixed billing clinic. Your participation in on-call, nursing home visits and home visits would be required. Stepping into this role you will have access to an existing patient base whilst working in an accredited teaching practice.

Essential Criteria

  • AHPRA Registration – General or Specialist

  • Female Doctor OR Interest in Women’s Health (preferable)

  • Australian hospital experience (preferred but not essential)


  • 65% of mixed billings depended on experience

  • Mentoring towards fellowship available

Practice Details:

Working in a team of 10 Doctors, you will receive excellent support from experienced nursing team, Practice Manager and administration staff.

 This reputable clinic has, over the past 20 years, grown through expansion of both services and physical clinic.  The clinic boasts 14 consulting rooms, a nursing precinct, additional training facilities and dedicated after-hours waiting area and specific after-hours access.   To assist you to settle into the clinic and the community, you will be provided with a detailed orientation and induction program and ongoing mentoring.

This accredited teaching practice hosts medical students and registrars with mentoring and support provided by the incumbent Doctors.  Regular clinic meetings allow Doctors to share knowledge and Nurses also support the training of the next generation of Nurses by mentoring nursing students on placement.

Practice hours are Monday & Wednesday between 8:30am to 7pm on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday between 08:30 – 6:00pm and Saturday 8:30-11:30am.

Traralgon is a bustling commercial centre that offers fine outdoor dining, excellent shopping and great entertainment in the local pubs and clubs in the evening .

The city is the sporting centre of Gippsland, with outstanding sporting facilities for tennis, athletics, swimming, and team sports, leisure centres and easy access to regional tourism attractions.

Traralgon offers a number of education options both from pre-school to universities.
