Joining the only GP Super Clinic in the region you will  (ideally) work in a full-time capacity with a small team of six doctors supported by outstanding management, administration staff, practice nurses. A detailed orientation and induction program will assist you to understand the business and related services as you will spend time with each department within the agency when you commence.

There is no weekend work, after-hours, on-call or VMO requirements and the clinic offers some flexibility with session.

The Package

  • 70% of billings (based on experience)

Practice Details:

This practice is committed to providing quality and accessible primary health care to all patients through a diverse team of professionals who work collaboratively. An accredited teaching practice, they are committed to continuing professional development and training amongst the incumbent GPs, GP registrars and medical and nursing students.

Utilising a nurse-led care model, this clinic focuses on the provision of primary health and welfare services to people at highest risk of poor health outcomes. The clinic has a strong focus on chronic disease management, aged care, children’s health, women’s health, mental health and pharmacotherapy.  Other services on offer by the practitioners include a refugee clinic and sexual health clinic.

With monthly team meetings you will be kept up-to-date with the ongoing functioning of the clinic and opportunity to take part in training sessions conducted by specialists.

The nurses provide strong coordination of chronic disease management within this nurse-led model.  The practice consists of 17 consulting rooms, three treatment rooms and onsite pathology.  As part of the community health service other services provided include podiatry, exercise physiology, diabetes education, dietician, counselling, child psychology and specialist Hep C Clinic.
