About the Role:
We are currently seeking an Allied Health Assistant to join our Allied Health Team. The role consists of both clinical and non-clinical duties, including assisting therapists with the delivery of rehabilitation programs, clerical duties and the management of resources and equipment. As the Allied Health Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Patient care duties which may include assistance with dressing, fitting splints, patient mobility, supervision of group classes and accompanying staff and patients offsite;
- Utilising the communication framework tool to greet all patients and staff;
- Ensuring equipment is maintained safely;
- Admission and discharge of day patients;
- Booking and coordination of patient appointments;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work both independently and as a member of the team;
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload;
- Certificate lll in Allied Health Assistance
