Child and Adolescent Psychologist
Learning Keys is a private practice based in Clarence Park providing psychology and speech pathology services for children and adolescents. We are currently looking for a psychologist to join our team to provide therapy and assessment services. Our vision is to provide a child centred practice that recognises an individual’s strengths and unique abilities to reach their full potential. We work with children and families to develop skills to support them to succeed socially, emotionally, educationally, and behaviourally.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience working with children, adolescents, and family members. Clients present with a wide range of concerns including emotional, behavioural, social and/or learning difficulties, thus offering Learning Keys clinicians case-load variety. The successful candidate will provide therapy services and conduct psychometric assessments.

Full administration support is provided as well as access to a comprehensive client management system. The office has been designed to be inviting and attractive to both clients and clinicians.
We have an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic psychologist to join our team. The position is flexible and is available as a minimum part-time position of 2 days, but full time is also available. We offer an attractive renumeration package.
The successful candidate:
- · Is client focussed
- · Provides evidence-based intervention
- · Is a team player with strong communication skills
- · Has the ability to develop and sustain effective relationships with parents, GPs, allied health professionals, and school personnel
- · Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- · Has appropriate training and qualifications in Psychology
- · Is a fully registered Psychologist with AHPRA (or soon to be registered)
- · Has the ability to obtain a Medicare provider number
- · Has professional indemnity insurance.
- · Holds a current working with children check
Endorsement in either Clinical or Educational and Developmental Psychology is highly desirable. However, new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Supervision for college endorsement is offered as part of the employment package. Supervision is available for either the College of Clinical Psychologists or the College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists.
