Exercise Physiologist

You will receive:

• Remuneration at high industry levels because you put in the work, and are good at what you do

$75 - $95 per hour (+GST)

Location

Covering the Sydney Metro Region.

• Work from home for telehealth, report writing, and admin
• Mobile: travelling between exercise facilities (gymnasium/pool), homes, outdoor locations/parks
• Telehealth using your smart phone or laptop

Opportunity available

• 2 days of work available
• There is opportunity to work more days if you can (we want you to work more if you can), and we will help you transition to this. You will need to be across pain science
• Contractor arrangement. You set your own schedule, with no billable hours pressure.
• Highly remunerated role. You are paid for the billable work you complete.
• Start date: Available immediately. As soon as possible.

The role and what's involved

• Insurance rehabilitation: Life Insurance, Workers Compensation, Motor Accidents
• Treating and Work Conditioning services for various health conditions (musculoskeletal, mental wellbeing, cancer, pain, fatigue, cardiac).
• Wellbeing approach using exercise physiology as the foundation of your intervention
• Involvement in industry leading research and projects

Your Skills and Experience

• You have knowledge of persistent pain and fatigue science and how to practically implement; or willing to promptly obtain this knowledge and skill set using up-skilling provided to you.
• You are confident with cancer and mental health
• You are a treating exercise physiologist
• At least 2 years work conditioning/RTW/Rehabilitation Consulting experience is highly advantageous
• You understand the insurance rehabilitation industry, or a desire to quickly understand

• ESSA AEP Accreditation
• Motor Vehicle
