General Practice Support Officer - RN

You will be responsible for building and supporting the primary health workforce across SWSPHN’s region. You will have exciting opportunities to effectively mentor, support and educate Practice Nurses and other General Practice staff to improve safe delivery of services and improve the health outcomes of their patients in areas such as chronic disease management, immunisation, infection prevention and control and clinical care. You will also mentor new or transitioning nurses through our innovative 12 month New to General Practice Nursing program. 

Essential requirements include: 

• Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and 3 years nursing experience. 
• Current CPR certificate 
• Current NSW Drivers licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
