Head Physiotherapist- Snowy Valleys Region

This position is responsible for the success of physiotherapy for our Snowy Valley clinics including but not limited to Tumut & Cootamundra.

Reports to: The Head Physiotherapist reports directly to the executive team and work collaboratively across strategic and operational functions.  

Salary: $100,000 -$120,000 p.a + performance bonuses

Performance expectations: 

• Lead the success of physiotherapy within the region as the preferred physiotherapy practice for referrers and patients. 

• To transition into the organisation establishing positive professional relations with current staff, practitioners, patients and referrers.  

• To review the current physiotherapy database and ensure patients have been transitioned effectively from exiting physiotherapist. 

• Review and comment on current physiotherapy operational structure with management and implement changes to deliver both excellent practice and business outcomes 

• Design the physiotherapy set-up to optimise delivery of service and to contribute to creating a functional working environment. 

• To attract, retain and engage physiotherapy staff.  

• To provide training, support and guidance to encourage high performance as well as a rewarding and satisfying career to physiotherapy staff 

• Develop clinical resources to support clinical practice 

• Develop operational resources to support clinical practice 

• Participate in KPI reviews with management. 

• Achieving personal KPIs as established upon appointment 

• Support all physiotherapy staff to reach their KPIs 

• Build strong referral networks within the community including nurturing existing referral sources and generating new ones.
