Roles & Responsibilities:

Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled AHPRA registered physiotherapists to work in aged care settings in Central Coast. This locum opportunity is available immediately starting from 4 weeks up to 12 months option with the potential to continue long-term.

The ideal candidate will display the following characteristics:

• Can work individually and within a multi-disciplinary team setting
• Can work closely with the facility clinical team to assist with ACFI claims
• Can develop and evaluate patient care plans, and formulate functional health assessments for new residents
• Can demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as concise, professional documentation
• Can provide pain management treatments
• Can implement falls prevention strategies
• Can complete falls reviews, mobility reviews, initial assessments and general physiotherapy reviews to a high degree
• Relocation costs support of up to $3,000

Essential Criteria:

• Is passionate about delivering high-quality care to aged-care residents
• Is respectful of resident confidentiality, rights, cultural beliefs, and privacy
• Understanding of working with elderly residents in a residential care setting
• Minimum 1 day/week and up to 5 days/week, Mon-Fri
• AHPRA General registration as a Physiotherapist with tertiary qualifications required
• Current Police Check (National Police Certificate)
