Medical Director Medical Officer

We are seeking a qualified and AHPRA registered medical practitioner, general practitioner or psychiatrist, to assist with treating clients for AOD (addiction) mental illness, as well as some general health matters. The hospital has up to 25 clients. Consulting rooms on premises as well as 24/7 nursing support. 

Key Selection Criteria

• Evidence of tertiary qualifications and current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Current medical indemnity insurance
• Ability to develop and lead a skilled, coordinated and collaborative care team
• Ability to ensure shared decision making between the patient, their family and clinical staff including highly developed critical problem solving skills
• Knowledge of best practice protocols, guidelines and standard procedures
• High attention to detail to ensure documentation is current, accurate, timely and maintains confidentiality
