MRI Radiographer

Based in I-Med’s Inner West Business Unit, MRI Newtown within the RPA Hospital Medical Centre, is seeking an experienced MRI Radiographer to join its close-knit team.

This rare opportunity offers the right candidate a position working amongst a busy tertiary campus, offering close working relationships with Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, RPA Hospital and University of Sydney. Our clinic is open from 7am-8pm Monday to Friday with a fully licensed 1.5T GE and partially licensed 1.5T Philips.

The successful candidate will be required to support MRI services and the leadership team working on a full-time permanent basis. You will be required to work a mix of early morning, day and evening shifts with occasional overtime. Experienced onsite radiologists will support you in an oncology-based centre. MRI Newtown also offers a large Cardiac MRI service enabling you to be a part of small team supporting CMRS in both clinical and research-based patients.

Key Selection Criteria:

· 5+ years’ experience in MRI.

· Completion of minimum Level 1 ASMIRT MRI Accreditation or equivalent.

· Experience in Breast, Abdomen, Female Pelvis, Prostate and Oncology Imaging

· Experience in Cardiac MRI desirable

· Experience on GE and/or Philips MRI platforms desirable

· Ability to work flexible shifts outside standard business hours
