Arriba Group - Rehab Management

About Us

Rehab Management forms part of a family of companies known collectively as the Arriba Group who were voted #1 Best Place To Work 2022 in Healthcare by the Australian Financial Review. We are a specialist multidisciplinary allied health team providing Occupational therapy services to people injured as a result of workplace injury, car accident or military both active duty and veterans. Since the Arriba Group was founded in 1998 we’ve helped thousands of Australians improve their lives through genuine understanding and respect. Collaborative and inclusive, our personalised process helps tailor individual outcomes to complex needs by applying innovative thinking, evidence-based approaches, and best practice to match the right people with the right opportunities.

 Job Description

For this role, we are open to a range of experience levels - from seasoned rehab consultants, right over to new grads or overseas trained professionals. We are also open to anyone looking to transition from another sector of occupational therapy! Don't think that just because you have been working in disability or private practice that you can't transition over - you can and you should!

The Opportunity

As a strong communicator, and once trained, you will manage cases across frameworks such as Icare Workers Compensation, DVA & VET’s, CTP and Comcare by providing the link between the injured person, employers, insurance case managers, the treating GP & other allied professionals to set goals, motivate, support and impower people to return to their pre-injury lives. Rehab Management manages a substantial portfolio of clients, working with some of Australia’s largest organisations, including Australia’s top insurers, large Federal and State government departments and other key agencies including the Department of Veteran Affairs.

What we offer you:

People are at the centre of our business – and that includes our staff, so we are happy to reward our staff with the following:

  • Generous remuneration package with substantial bonus component - quarterly performance bonus of 20% of your salary on ACHIEVABLE KPI's - we never want our staff working more than the hours they are paid to work
  • Rewards and recognition program which includes monthly, quarterly, and annual events (inc. team building exercises, Christmas parties & loads more!)
  • Hands-on training approach from our industry leaders - you will never be mentored by someone who isn't highly experienced at Rehab Management
  • Investment in your personal career development with a comprehensive succession plan
  • YouDays – 4 additional leave days per year to focus on health and wellbeing, family, friends or just ‘you’
  • Latest technology (Phone and laptop) and web-connectivity/cloud platform/systems for working from home or our local office hubs
  • 1 day to give back – a volunteer day to support local charity or organisation of your choice
  • Paws leave - one day a year to take off to spend time with all our furry creatures at home!
  • Paid parental leave
  • Flexibility provided via flexible working arrangements, times and locations - work/life balance is a top priority for us
  • Commitment to your learning & Development via detailed induction, annual external professional development allowance, regular supervision & tailored learning and development frameworks for all levels

Finally, so many big occupational rehab service providers lure people in with promises of "work life balance, commitment to putting people first, career development opportunities" and then fail to deliver. We say the same, so what makes us different?

Three reasons why Rehab Management is different:

  • We don't just talk about work/life balance, we detail exactly how we achieve work/life balance. We recognise that life is complex and building into our policy all the ways in which you may need time off emphasises it. In order to deliver quality care to our clients, we know we must deliver a quality work environment to our staff. A comprehensive leave program along with a 20% performance bonus for HITTING KPI's - not exceeding them as with many other providers - means that work should never bleed into your personal time.

  • Rehab Management has one of the most experienced management teams in the industry - it why our service frequently wins quality awards. When you start, you will be mentored and managed by people with up to 30 years of experience, with none of our team leaders having less than 5 years’ experience. This ensures that all our new graduates get quality supervision and informed managers - both clinically and managerially.

  • Rehab Management is committed to growing the quality of our service, not the quantity of it. Our goal is to be Australia's best service provider, not its biggest. This way, we've been able to maintain the quality of our working environment, our culture, our managers and our staff. It also means that we often promote within our own pool of staff due to our stable growth rate, which means lots of opportunities for career progression! The majority our senior managers have progressed internally from junior roles.

  •  Desired Skills and Experience

    About you

To be successful, you will need to be highly motivated, work in a collaborative style, be target orientated, ability to manage several tasks at once, love a challenge and enjoy working in a dynamic, fun, fast paced environment. This role is the perfect opportunity for you to kick-start your career in occupational rehabilitation with an award-winning national rehab provider:
