About us

My Word Speech Therapy is an established practice that provides Speech Pathology services to paediatric clients in Albury and surrounds. My Word Speech Therapy strives to deliver high-quality services that meet the needs of individual clients and their families. We work closely with schools, paediatricians, NDIS partners, and other health professionals to ensure a holistic team approach.

The role

We are expanding our service to include Occupational Therapy services and have an exciting new position available. As a paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for treating clients aged between 0 - 18 years. You will be required to manage a full-time caseload with the support of regular, discipline-specific supervision. Clients that attend our clinic can be private clients or NDIS participants. Experience working with NDIS participants is desired.  

Essential criteria

● Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent

● Current professional registration with AHPRA

● A full drivers license and own car

● Current NSW and VIC Working with Children Check and national police check

● First Aid Certificate

● NDIS Mandatory Worker Training

● Demonstrated experience providing Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention with paediatric clients

● Sound oral and written communication skills

● Excellent time management skills

● Ability to problem solve

● Willingness to learn and add value to a team environment
