About the Role

Physiopaedics Children’s Physiotherapy is searching for a new full-time Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our exciting, growing team!

Physiopaedics Children’s Physiotherapy is a well-known, experienced and growing Paediatric Physiotherapy private practice in Narellan that has been servicing the children in the area for the past 19 years.

We provide the highest quality Paediatric Physiotherapy service consisting of a diverse and varied caseload across children and adolescents 0-18 years of age. Our caseload includes children with a wide range of disabilities (Cerebral Palsy, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Muscular Dystrophy, rare syndromes), babies with developmental delay, plagiocephaly / torticollis, DDH, TEV/CCV, gait abnormalities (e.g. tip toe walkers, in-toeing, out-toeing), gross motor / coordination difficulties and orthopaedic conditions. You will manage a mix of both private patients and children funded through the NDIS.

We offer a relaxed, fun, friendly, collaborative environment with great support from a team of highly experienced senior physios. We have professional, modern rooms and facilities, and are located across the road from the major shopping hub, including Narellan Town Centre. We are close to the M5 and an easy 20 minute drive from Liverpool.

Requirements

Applicants are required to have the following:

• Full AHPRA registration
• Experience working with paediatric patients
• Availability to work outside of school hours
• Strong work ethic and desire to deliver the best possible outcomes for your clients
• Be able to work independently as well as a member of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to communicate and relate to both children and their families
• High level organisational and time management skills
• Maintain a high degree of professional awareness and a willingness to stay up to date with the latest research
• Ability to complete paperless clinical records & proficiency in Microsoft Word / file management
• Professional Indemnity and Liability Insurance
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) & National Police Check
• Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination

Whilst not required, preferred applicants would have:

• Full drivers’ licence and own vehicle
• Experience with or knowledge of the NDIS, equipment prescription and case meetings with paediatric clients
• Current membership with Australian Physiotherapy Association and preferably the Paediatric Group.
