This Permanent Part Time /Full Time position is available immediately for a suitable applicant. This position is from 64 hours – 80 hours per fortnight, with a monthly accrued day off (ADO), if applicable. Applications from new graduates welcome.

Opportunity available for a highly motivated Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health Team, within our Primary Care Services.

You will have highly developed interpersonal skills as well as sound communication skills both verbal and written.

The successful applicant will require:

  • Current Physiotherapy registration with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated high level knowledge, expertise and skill in the provision of physiotherapy clinical services for all ages and across the continuum of care, including inpatient, outpatient, aged care and community care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Effective time management and communication skills

Portland District Health (PDH) provides an integrated health service for the community. The hospital was established in 1856 on the current site and now provides a comprehensive range of services that include:

  • Hospital based Medical and Surgical services, Medical Imaging (Radiology), Pharmacy and Pathology
  • A 24/7 Urgent Care Centre for emergency treatment
  • Residential aged care for 30 residents at Harbourside Lodge

PDH delivers services from a single campus, employs around 470 staff with an FTE of approximately 290, and has an active volunteer workforce.
