The contractor position
The Therapists roles are all contract positions, with access to both our Sandringham and Frankston consulting suites. Therapists will offer online and face to face (post Stage 4 restrictions) therapeutic services to clients and may be required to facilitate group workshops and/or training sessions.
Therapists will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, trauma informed services to couples, families, children, men and women, and to support the innovation of service delivery.
A day in the life of a Therapist may include: delivering therapeutic services to clients, undertaking case management of clients, supporting co-workers with their cases, building the profile of the practice and your client base, and engaging with peers and partners to develop innovative approaches to service delivery.
The employer will, from time to time, tender for grants or receive philanthropic funding that supports the provision of services to vulnerable members of the community through Heartlinks, who may otherwise be unable to access therapeutic support. As a The employer contractor, you will have the opportunity to provide services as part of these projects (working within the parameters of the funding agreements).
To promote accessibility, it is a requirement to be registered (or have capability to register prior to commencement) with the Better Access Scheme.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated psychologist to work with The employer, and be part of a new enterprise that will change the way The employer supports communities.
Do you have experience working in a private practice setting? Have you facilitated group workshops? Are registered or do you have the capacity to register with Medicare? Do you enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team, and have a strong client centred approach to all you do? If so, we would love to hear from you!
