Remedial Massage Therapist Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, vibrant, service-oriented, dedicated and resourceful Remedial Massage Therapist with Diploma Qualifications that is health fund certified or a graduate with a Diploma or Cert IV to provide high-quality remedial massage therapy services to our growing list of clients.

The Main Duties Of This Position Will Include

• Providing sports, remedial, myofascial release, relaxation, and pregnancy massage to a range of client types including professional athletes.
• Design and implement therapy and treatment regimes specific to each client.
• Work autonomously and manage your own time.
• Work in an inclusive team environment.
• Offer input into clinic processes and procedures.
• Recommend and sell related products to meet customers' needs and take payment for services rendered.

To Be Considered For This Position, You Will

• Have a Diploma or Certificate IV in Remedial Massage that is recognised in Australia.
• (If Diploma qualified) Be registered to provide health fund rebates to health fund members and can provide services to insurance claims (e.g. car accident compensation) clients.
• Hold a current membership with a recognised industry association (e.g. ATMS or AMT).
• Hold a valid Australia recognised First Aid certification.
• Hold a valid Working with children check.
• Be a team player, have a pleasant disposition and attitude and a teachable nature.
• Be honest, upfront, client-focused, and value people.
