Approval and endorsement of a range of new clinical resources, guidelines, and position releases have been approved by the college.
RACGP Expert Committee—Quality Care and other involved GPs from RACGP have been conducting reviews of external resources relevant to the practice.
RACGP gives ‘Accepted Clinical Resource’ status for those resources that are produced to a high standard use for general practice regardless if they are not adherent to the National Health and Medical Research Council guidelines standards.
However, RACGP endorses only those that are produced to NHMRC standard.
Also, RACGP may approve documents as Accepted Clinical Resource and consider it as a RACGP Supported Position/Statement if it meets the criteria of the college.
