Neurofibromatosis Clinical Symposium will be held on 4 March 2020 at Perpetual Conference Room, Angel Place, Level 18, 123 Pitt Street, Sydney. The schedule of the symposium will last from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm.
Through the collaboration of CTF Australia and Whiteley Medical, the keynote speaker for the coming Neurofibromatosis Clinical Symposium is Professor Michael J. Fisher, Md. Professor Fisher is a practitioner at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania. Up to this date, Professor Fisher is the Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Department of Defence NF Clinical Trial Consortium. He is also involved in various research committees.
He specialises in brain tumours and neurofibromatosis. He is also an internationally recognised expert in Low-grade gliomas, medulloblastomas, NF-Related tumors, and Plexiform neurofibromas. He also explores the field of finding new treatments for NF1-linked tumours in children.
After the keynote address, various presentations regarding Neurofibromatosis (NF) types NF1 and NF2. The symposium seeks to improve and foster the collaboration between experts in such fields for the benefit of the clinical community.
