Topics localised treatments such as surgery and radiotherapy, systemic treatments include chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, and biological modifiers. Theme 2: Systemic treatment for breast cancer

Evaluate current literature and research outcomes to identify appropriate treatment options and to ensure patients receive accurate information.

Theme 3: Radiotherapy treatment for breast cancer

  • Analyse and evaluate current systematic treatments, local treatments and hormonal therapies to prevent or manage acute and latent side effects of single and combined treatments.
  • Identify, synthesise and discuss the range of psychosocial effects a diagnosis of breast cancer has on individuals, their family and carers.
