The provision of emergency contraception (EC) is an important part of a wider strategy for reducing the numbers of unplanned pregnancies.

  • The introductory sessions in the Sexual Health and Contraception module
  • Care of the Woman who has had Unprotected Sex (400-0158)

Professor Maggie Bartlett,
Head of the Undergraduate Division

Maggie joined Dundee School of Medicine in October 2017 as Chair of Education in General Practice and became the Head of the Undergraduate Division in November 2019.

Prior to her current role Maggie was a GP appraiser, a performance assessor for the GMC and an examiner for Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

Maggie is currently the lead for Dundee’s Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship and is a founder member of the UK’s Clinical Reasoning in Medical Education group.
