This session aims to describe the clinical presentations of the more common viral infections of the oral mucosa. This information will aid you in the diagnosis of viral infections presenting with oral mucosal manifestations.
Before commencing this session you should have:
- An understanding of basic microbiology and oral medicine
Konrad is a Consultant in Oral Medicine at Newcastle Dental Hospital and School. He is actively involved in clinical teaching of Oral Medicine and contributes to the formal lecture programme of human disease and therapeutics in the BDS programme. He is also involved in teaching these subjects at postgraduate level.
