Learning Objectives

  • Evaluate chronic pelvic pain through appropriate history taking and investigations
  • Consider useful management steps for women with chronic pelvic pain
  • Support women living with chronic pelvic pain

Chronic pelvic pain is defined as intermittent, or continuous, pain in the lower abdomen, or pelvis, of at least 6 months duration.
