A high-quality healthcare management course

Leadership for Clinicians (LeAD) is suitable for all clinical staff, regardless of profession, specialty or stage of training. It covers the competencies and leadership behaviours required to fulfil, and support others in, healthcare management roles.

Suitable for leaders and managers in healthcare globally

You can complete more than 60 e-learning sessions on a wide range of topics such as personal development, working with colleagues, managing services and improving care. You can select sessions that are most relevant to your role. The content is packed with case studies, animations and video clips, to help reinforce learning and understanding on key themes. There are also links to further recommended reading sources.

Highly interactive, with real-life case studies

The sessions draw on real-life scenarios and examples of service improvement techniques and challenges from across the health sectors. You can reflect on how the learning can be applied to your everyday work and better understand the role you can play in improving services.

This interactive healthcare leadership course has been developed by the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management and the NHS Leadership Academy. It covers the knowledge components of the NHS Leadership Competency Frameworks, although the themes are relevant to healthcare professionals globally.

Easy online access

The learning content is available online so you can study at home, in the workplace or even on the move.

------

eIntegrity programmes are developed by NHS Health Education England’s e-Learning for Healthcare programme (HEE e-LfH).

The programmes are high quality self-directed learning programmes.  They are designed to support training and CPD and are excellent resources alongside other traditional teaching methodologies.  They have been developed by the UK NHS for use in the NHS.  However, many of the programmes have international relevance, particularly the specialty training programmes which are often mapped to UK specialty training curricula.
