Privacy and Confidentiality
How people live, their choices and decisions and information must be protected and kept private. This learning activity provides strategies to protect all aspects of a person’s privacy. It includes the responsibilities of Aged Care Providers under the Australian Privacy Law regarding the Notifiable Data Breach (NDB) Scheme. Learners will also consider when confidentiality can be breached and the process to follow. Privacy and Confidentiality aligns to Standard 1 of the Aged Care Quality Standards
