Surf Life Saving is Australia’s major water safety, drowning prevention and rescue organisation. As a movement, Surf Life Saving has been keeping our beaches safe for over 110 years. In addition to the work on our beaches, Surf Life Saving is one of the fastest-growing providers of accredited and unaccredited First Aid training in Australia.
Surf Life Saving operates in each state and territory under its relevant training authority. Each entity operates as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) registered by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) or the relevant state-registering body. Collectively Surf Life Saving delivers 110,000 Units of Competency (UOC) per annum.

We are passionate about providing quality training and education services and are always striving to exceed the expectations of our partners and clients in all business communications and interactions. SLSNSW has developed strong working relationships with many businesses, schools, government departments and organisations.
We currently deliver training at over 1700 schools, 10 universities, 16 NSW councils, 1000 child-care centres and over 250 aged-care facilities.
First aid and the delivery of flexible, engaging, and customised training and assessment are core to the vision of SLSNSW’s training operations.
