Sydney Child Health Program (SCHP)
Now in its 29th year, the Sydney Child Health Program is a graduate-entry, online, continuing professional development program endorsed by the University of Sydney and delivered by the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network.
It lays a strong foundation for young doctors entering the workforce and is an important prerequisite for training positions at most major paediatric teaching hospitals around Australia. It provides recognised paediatric training experience for trainees of the RACGP and accreditation from ACEM and ACRRM, as well as essential ongoing education for general practitioners, nurses and other allied health professionals throughout their careers.
The program comprises of 111 annually updated webcasts, monthly instructional newsletters (refining clinical reasoning), additional web-based resources and four assessments. It is available on any device at any time and our Alumni benefit from free lifelong access.
