Yarriambiack Medical Clinic is offering an opportunity for a general practitioner. We have the ability to take a doctor who requires supervision and need to works in a District of Workforce Shortage area.  However, there is limited time to take up this wonderful opportunity. Some Australian experience is preferred. After a settling in period and depending on the incumbent’s restrictions the practice would like the GP to participate in a hospital roster that will eventually be 1 in 4. The clinic hours are generally 9am to 5.30pm on weekdays. The clinic is fully computerised with Medical Director and has four receptionists, one enrolled nurse, a registered nurse and practice manager. Pathology services are coordinated daily and a visiting cardiologist attend the clinic along with a diabetic educator and asthma nurse. Our local hosptial -Rural Northwest Health Service (Warracknabeal) has podiatrists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and visiting ENT surgeon who work closely with the clinic.  Australian Cardiac Diagnostic delivers echo ultrasounds services monthly and Bendigo X-Ray works 5 days a week next to the clinic.  Doctors at the Yarriambiack clinic contribute to care at our local Agecare units and they are also the Visiting Medical Officers working for Rural Northwest Health. Yarriambiack Medical Clinic is privately owned by a GP.
