Paediatric and Family Psychologist
We’re seeking a Psychologist for a newly established Child & Developmental Psychology clinic within a well-established, multidisciplinary paediatric therapy clinic. We offer flexible working arrangements, an above award salary, substantial professional development allowances and the opportunity to create & cultivate a Psychology Department to enhance the wellbeing of a community of children and families.
Responsibilities and Key Priorities:
Providing Psychological intervention and management of Psychology Operations, including but not limited to:
- Assessing and providing intervention for a diverse caseload of children (0-16 years) and their families with developmental needs
- Conducting weekly and intensive therapy to achieve goals created together with families
- Eventually, managing a small team of Psychologists, providing supervision and mentoring
- Working within multidisciplinary team: Speech therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Music Therapists, Dieticians and Exercise Physiologists
- Competence in psychometric assessment and report writing - specifically WISC-V, ADOS-II, ADI-R, etc.
- Capacity to provide clinical supervision, professional development & guidance to a team of psychologists
- Collaborate with other departments as well as external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of psychological services in our suite of services
- Be accountable for strategic planning & identifying opportunities for program growth

About You:
The right candidate for this role will be warm, self-motivated and driven, whilst also able to have fun and work within a team. We prioritise integrity and values-based practice throughout our clinic. You be an integral part of establishing the Children and Family Psychology clinic, under the EveryKid roof. You will bring your expertise and knowledge to build a team, working alongside other paediatric disciplines, whilst still exercising your clinical judgement and reasoning skills. We require full registration with AHPRA, a National Police Check & Working with Children Check and Medicare Eligibility
