We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team on a permanent part-time or casual basis. Oshia is a private practice in Sydney NSW, specialising in providing holistic high-quality psychological services through personalised multidisciplinary support plans, which aim to support individuals through life’s challenges and inspire self- development.

 

Reporting to the Clinical Director, Dr. Kanny Hannah, the Clinical Psychologist will play a vital role in providing therapeutic interventions, assessments and psychological support to our diverse clientele. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, formulating treatments plans, delivering evidence based therapy, and monitoring progress. You will work closely with clients to help them understand and address various mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, relationship issues, and other psychological disorders. There is the opportunity to work with clients in groups and individually as well as through charities with clients who may otherwise have been unable to access psychological therapies.

 

Primary Purpose of the role

As a Psychologist in our private practice, your main role is to support clients to understand and manage their mental health concerns as well as to assist in the effective running of Oshia.

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a recognized postgraduate qualification in psychology.
  • Demonstrate capacity to work collaboratively with other mental
  • health professions to ensure integrated care for clients.
  • Have comprehensive knowledge in psychological practices.
  • Be calm, naturally curious and a deep listener who can distil and

translate complexity into actionable insights.experience to solve complex problems both individually and collaboratively.priorities can shift.Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Be a creative problem solver who displays clarity, judgement and
  • Be able to connect with others and influence outcomes.
  • Be adaptable and able to thrive in dynamic environments where
  • AHPRA registered (essential)
  • Hold a recognized postgraduate qualification in psychology (e.g., Masters or
  • Doctorate) from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) and

endorsement as a Psychologist.

  • Valid and current membership with the Australian Psychological Society

(APS) or an equivalent professional association.evidence-based therapeutic interventions.practice of psychology in Australia.client needs and scheduling requirements.

  • Demonstrated experience in providing psychological assessments and
  • Strong knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and their applications in treating different mental health conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills,with the ability to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical practice.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines governing the
  • Flexibility to work across multiple locations in NSW and adapt to varying

Salary: We offer a competitive salary package; this includes employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave.
