Dental Assistant

Role Description

This is a casual dental assistant role located in Melbourne, VIC, at Sia Dental Essendon. As a dental assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the dentist in all aspects of dental treatment including clinical, laboratory and administrative duties. You will prepare patients for treatment, sterilize instruments, develop dental radiographs, and provide oral hygiene and postoperative care instructions to the patients.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certificate III in Dental Assisting or higher
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Experience with dental software and equipment
• A positive and friendly attitude towards patients and team members
• Familiarity with infection control procedures and occupational health and safety standards
• Availability to work on weekends and evenings is a plus
