We are looking for an early career passionate speech pathologist(s) based any where in Australia with a desire to provide affirming and transformative speech therapy to adults. This role is a work from home opportunity with a solely adult caseload.

You'll receive clinical supervision and mentoring at all stages of employment. In addition, working in our team will provide you with unique opportunities to extend your skills. Your day will never be boring, and you will have a mix of sessions covering your core clinical skills ranging between clients seeking social communication strategies, pronunciation clarity due to clinical concerns, stuttering therapy and voice therapy.

Our sessions are delivered via telehealth, virtually. We've delivered telehealth since 2013 so we're completely equipped with custom-built resources, to serve our adult clients Australia-wide with minimal session prep required.

Requirements

Essential Criteria

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology. Clinicians that are soon to graduate are also welcome to apply. All applications will be considered.
  • Membership of Speech Pathology Australia
  • Eligibility to register as a provider with Medicare and Private Health Funds.
  • A current Working with Children's check
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of working with clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
  • A current National Police Clearance
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Applicants need to be highly motivated and organised with demonstrated capacity to work autonomously and within a team
  • A strong work ethic and high ethical standards
  • An agile mindset and ability to engage openly in new learning especially with reference to technology and IT systems
  • A commitment to providing the best evidence-based practice to Voice Science clients
