Exercise Physiologist

Longevity Exercise Physiology and Personal Training is a fitness and wellness organization located in Woollahra, NSW. Our vision is to impact the lifespan and quality of life of our community with personalized exercise prescription. We provide personal training and exercise physiology services in a gym-based setting. Our team consists of highly qualified exercise professionals who are dedicated to helping clients achieve their health and fitness goals.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Exercise Physiologist at Longevity. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will work with a variety of clients and provide exercise services for acute and chronic health conditions. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting private consultations, working with SIRA/WorkCover, Medicare, DVA, and NDIS clients, and prescribing exercise programs to support overall health and wellness. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients through personalized exercise prescription.

Qualifications

• Cardiac Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation skills
• Knowledge of Physiology and Exercise Physiology principles
• Experience in Exercise Prescription
• Accreditation with Exercise and Sport Science Australia
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with clients
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret data
• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or related field
• Experience in cardiac rehabilitation and working with diverse populations is a plus
