Position Requirements:

The successful applicant will:

  • Have two or more years of experience working as an AEP / AES / PT / AHA
  • Always conduct themselves in a highly professional manner
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of patho-anatomy and physiology
  • Desirably have strong exercise prescription skills for AEP target pathologies
  • Be a natural communicator
  • Be organised and time-efficient
  • Be passionate about your Exercise Physiology craft
  • Have a willingness to grow and learn new skills and processes

 

The successful applicant will hold:

  • ESSA AEP accreditation
  • Current CPR / First Aid certificates
  • Current / valid driver’s license
  • Current professional indemnity insurance policy
  • Working With Children Check
  • Australian citizenship

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and health coaching
  • Run small group and individual exercise sessions
  • Prescribe tailored exercise programs for both in-clinic and at-home services
  • Support and guide your clients to achieve their goals
  • Collaborate with other medical and healthcare professionals
  • Stay up to date with research and current trends in Exercise Physiology
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
  • Help Health in Balance to continue to grow
