Assist doctors with:

• patient consultations
• performing physical examinations
• treating wounds or injuries
• putting on and removing dressings
• emergency first aid treatment as required
• giving advice, education and information stopping smoking, drinking or losing weight
• taking patient specimens and vital signs (pulse, temperatures and blood pressure)
• giving immunisations, vaccinations and other infant injections
• Chronic disease management plans and Health Assessments
• keeping written and / or electronic records and making sure that patient notes are current.
• cold Chain management and monitoring
• general restocking and maintenance of clinical areas
