Wheatfields Family Medical is located in the country town of Warracknabeal, in the heart of the Yarrimabiack Shire. The Warracknabeal community is most welcoming and the predominant occupation is farming. Our patients are of all ages and present with a variety of acute and chronic health conditions. Throughout the day, our doctors have highyl experienced nursing support together with a lovely and welcoming administration team at reception.

We also offer health assessments, vaccinations, minor surgery, ABI, Holter monitors, Spirometry, multi disciplinary meetings with Paediatricians from the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne, Diabetes educators and Echo clinics. This is a practice where a doctor specializing in general practice would have exposure to the full scope of rural general practice and it is the ideal place to build expertise in a wide range of medical areas under excellent supervision.

Our experienced GP has specialised 14 years ago, when living in London, and is passionate and dedicated supervisor of GPs in training (Registrars) as they are becoming specilaists in their fields.
