Locum Dentist - Government FIFO role

Government Dentist role: Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service has opportunities for Dentists wanting to work at Rockhampton in central Queensland, in a Fly in-Fly out (FIFO) capacity. Short and long-term locum assignments are possible. 

There are roles for new and recent graduate Dentists, as well as more experienced clinicians, at the Oral Health Services clinic in Rockhampton. This Public Health clinic is located within Rockhampton Hospital. 

For Dentists wishing to gain experience in a Government role and the public health system, this is a really compelling first foray. 

Starting ASAP, the Hospital has both long-term and short-term locum assignments, ranging from 3 weeks to 6 months. Rockhampton Hospital is a teaching hospital with multiple chairs with between 2-6 Dentists practicing there on any given day. 

Hourly rates start at $100 per hour ranging up to $116 per hour for more experienced Dentists. 

You will also receive return flights, accommodation and a car allowance of $50 per day in addition to this. You can choose to work a 9-day fortnight but 5 days per week is available for those wanting the extra hours.

Hours are Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 4.30pm.

The successful candidate must have current APHRA registration with no restrictions and indemnity insurance.
