Physiotherapist

Glenferrie Sports and Spinal Clinic is a multi-disciplinary sports medical clinic located in Hawthorn, Victoria. Our clinic specialises in helping individuals regain function following injury or surgery. We consult in Private Hospitals working with Orthopaedic Specialists, as well as having a clinic situated within the Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre. We provide one-on-one consultations and utilise a variety of manual therapies, along with video-based exercise prescription, to help our patients achieve their physical goals. We have strong associations with Local and National Sporting Clubs.

Role Description

This is a part-time role for an experienced Physiotherapist at Glenferrie Sports and Spinal Clinic. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing hands-on manual therapies to our patients. This is an on-site role and requires work at our clinic located in Hawthorn, Victoria. Full time work will be considered for the right applicant. There will be opportunity to work consulting at the hospital with post operative patients.

Qualifications

• Physiotherapy graduate
• AHPRA Registration
• Current certification and registration as a Physiotherapist in Australia
• WWC
• Drivers Licence

Desirable Qualities

• Strong knowledge and experience in manual therapies
• Excellent assessment and treatment planning skills
• Proficient in exercise prescription
• Experience working with sports-related injuries and post operative rehabilitation
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to market and develop own casemix
• Experience in a similar setting (e.g., sports clinic, rehabilitation center)
• Likes to work alongside other engaged professionals.
• Wants to work with tech to get the best outcomes for their patients.
