Physiotherapist

• Private Practice, primarily a MSK, sports and orthopaedics caseload
• Located in Kew VIC 3101
• Sub-contractor role - 2 days per week

Sterling Physiotherapy is seeking an enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our team on a sub-contractor basis, with the scope of a permanent role in the future. To get an idea of our values, the clinical environment and our supporting network.

The Role

We are seeking a personable individual who shares our passion for sports and exercise based rehabilitation, aiming to achieve excellent patient outcomes. We work closely with the S&C coaches at Workshop Gym Kew that service a broad range of clientele invested in their health.

As a clinician, you will be providing physiotherapy assessments, treatments and prescribing exercises to patients at our clinic in Kew. You will also be supported by – and communicating with – the Workshop Gym coaches regarding the progress of their members who are currently on your caseload. You will have some responsibility of managing your current diary/caseload (our team will assist with handling new enquiries/bookings as much as possible).

Essential criteria:

• Current physiotherapy registration with AHPRA
• 2+ years prior experience in a private practice setting
• Able to cover 2 full days during the week, and potentially Saturday morning rotations (Can be discussed)
• Ability to work independently without supervision as a clinician, and able to take on facility opening/closing procedures if required
• Excellent communications skills and initiative, and responding to existing patients’ emails/enquiries if required

Desirable skills:

• Previous work experience in a sports team/athletics environment
• Additional qualifications in Strength & Conditioning (e.g. ASCA accreditation)/Exercise Physiology
• Previous experience with Cliniko, PhysiTrack, and Google Sheets (Injury reporting)
• Exposure to various forms of climbing (e.g. bouldering, lead climbing) as a climber, or previous experience in working with climbers
