Role Description

This is a full-time or part-time with flexible hours on-site at Footlab+ an open to podiatrists of all levels of experience

.

At Footlab+ our casemix is inclusive of (but not limited to): acute and chronic musculoskeletal injury management, post surgical rehabilitation (inc advanced immobisation techniques), general podiatric care, wound management and diabetic care. We are equipped with:

• running biomechanics lab complete with VGA pressure mapping treadmill,
• designated procedure room,
• onsite orthotic modification facilities,
• real time ultrasound unit,
• shockwave units
• laser units,

You will also have the opportunity to upskill; whether it be to learn acute fracture management with immobilisation techniques (including the application of backslabs and below knee fibreglass casts), work alongside orthopaedic surgeons conducting post operative reviews and managing rehabilitation, practice advance wound management or work alongside S4 endorsed podiatrists undertaking ultrasound guided cortisone injections and pursue S4 endorsement. We will discuss with you the many opportunities available.

We also offer structured mentoring, collaboration, shadowing, education and professional development activities to enable you to have the opportunity to refine the fundamental skills, providing a base to advance your podiatry career facilitating the confidence to manage a diverse casemix with complex clinical presentations.
