Galston Medical Centre is a busy, semi-rural, GP operated practice that has been providing high-quality  healthcare to the community for over 40 years. You will join a team of 4 doctors, 3 nurses and 2 receptionists. The medical centre is fully accredited. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced registered nurse to join our friendly team. General Practice experience is preferred but training will be provided to the right candidate. You will be responsible for our busy treatment room as well as providing clinical support to reception as needed.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• triage
• ECGs, Spirometry, 24 hour blood pressure monitoring 
• venepuncture
• wound management
• vaccinations
• chronic disease management
• health assessments
• cold chain management
• infection control
• management of supplies and consumables

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

• the ability to work as part of a team
• communication and problem solving skills
• reliable and keen to learn new skills 
• AHPRA registration
• First Aid and CPR certification
