Join a friendly, professional team that is located 300 metres from Mermaid Beach.

We are seeking Psychologists to work anywhere from 1 to 4 days per week with days including Saturdays if you prefer.

PRA Psychology was first established in 1995 and expanded in 2007 into its own purpose-built and fully-owned clinic 300m from the sand of Mermaid Beach on the beautiful Gold Coast within close proximity to cafes, shops, restaurants and public transport. PRA offers clinical and counselling psychological services to individuals and couples with a broad range of presenting problems. We have Psychologists working in all areas of clinical and counselling psychology using a variety of approaches for all ages across the lifespan. Our team are passionate about making a difference to people's lives and we pride ourselves on being client-centred and compassionate. We offer individual and group peer supervision.

We are seeking Clinical Psychologists/Psychologists who have experience with assessing and treating a broad range of conditions including mood and anxiety disorders. Clientele is primarily adult but can include child and adolescent if the practitioner has the expertise and interest. Soon-to-graduate Clinical Psychology Masters students are welcome to apply. Areas of interest are encouraged. Relationship counselling is desirable, but not essential. We currently have a long waiting list and need new team members to spread the load.

Desired qualifications, experience, skills and abilities:

• Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
• Medicare provider status
• Experience in CBT and other modalities
• Experience with mood and anxiety disorders
• ABN or ACN or willingness to arrange that
• Professional indemnity insurance
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and to be highly organised, self-motivated and driven
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated high standard of ethical practice
