Role Description

This is a contract role for a Registered Psychologist at Guiding Light Psychology located in Bankstown, NSW. The Psychologist will be responsible for providing psychological assessment, treatment, and support for a variety of mental health concerns. The Psychologist will also be responsible for counseling clients through the use of evidence-based treatments, as well as conducting ongoing evaluations and assessments.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Full registration as a psychologist with AHPRA
  • Ability to obtain Medicare Provider number
  • Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
  • Current professional indemnity insurance
  • Enthusiastic, passionate and driven psychologist with strong work ethic
  • Experience in providing evidence-based therapy
  • Demonstrated experience working with adults/adolescents and/or children to support a range of emotional and social issues
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously within a team
  • Newly registered psychologists are encouraged to apply
