Since 1999, our clinic has been providing comprehensive healthcare services to the local Chipping Norton community. With a vision to build a community-based healthcare service, we strive to foster lasting relationships and help our clients become the best versions of themselves. Our multi-disciplinary health clinic offers a wide range of services, including Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Dietitian and Occupational Therapy providing a holistic approach to patient care. We are also a registered NDIS service provider, catering to our community's diverse needs.
Role Description
This is a contract role for a Psychologist at The Good Samaritan Medical Centre. As a Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing counseling services, conducting psychological assessments, and offering support to individuals experiencing mental health issues. This is an on-site role located in the Greater Sydney Area, where you will work closely with our diverse team of doctors and allied health professionals to deliver collaborative and comprehensive healthcare.
You will have control over your caseload and the days you work.

Your responsibilities include:
- The successful applicant will provide clinic and mobile services to The Good Samaritan’s clients in Sydney.
- Provide face to face and occasional telehealth to clients in community settings.
- Provide appropriately targeted education for clients, carers and staff as required
- Ensure appropriate written and verbal communication with key stakeholders as required including timely reports.
- Communicate and work efficiently and collaboratively with the team to ensure best practice & integrated client care
Essential and Desirable skills:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, social work or Counsellor
- Driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle
- Minimum 12 Months of experience.
- National Police Check
- Working with Children check
- NDIS experience preferable
- Work independently and within our care team
- Professional presentation and demeanour
- Caring attitude, flexible, positive approach to work
