Our Sunshine Coast practices are independently owned and doctor led, we are committed to delivering high-quality imaging and patient-focused care by remaining at the forefront of new imaging techniques to benefit our doctors, referrers, and patients.

We provide a comprehensive range of imaging and procedural services including MRI, CT, SPECT - CT, breast imaging, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, BMD, dental imaging, and general x-ray. We are fortunate enough to have a wide case mix from local GP’s and specialists in the Noosa and Wide Bay region. We are also involved in the Noosa Hospital MDT and other clinical meetings.

PET installation has commenced at one of our sites and will be complete by early June 2024, we need to increase staffing to keep up with our planned expansion of services.

About the Opportunity

With continued growth in our imaging services, we have great opportunities for experienced Radiographers to join our teams in our various locations around the Sunshine Coast. You will have exposure to MRI, Cardiac and Interventional Dual Energy CT, PET/CT, 3D and interventional Mammography, general x-ray, BMD, OPG and Cone-beam dental CT. To be successful, you will be passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes and consider yourself to be highly accountable. You will demonstrate a strong, supportive and engaging communication style and possess the ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing compassionate patient care, taking responsibility for patient welfare and confidentiality
• Interpreting radiological requests and perform appropriate procedures in accordance with relevant legislation and department policies
• Ensuring image quality and examination scope is sufficient to provide diagnostic information relevant to clinic needs

About you

• Bachelor of Medical Imaging Science/Radiography (or equivalent)
• Current Registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with AHPRA
• Current QLD Radiation Use License
• Competence in General Radiography and CT incl. IV Cannulation
• Passionate about providing an outstanding service to our patients
• Experience in general x-ray and OPG
• Experience in CT, MRI or Mammography would be advantageous
• Good organisation and time management skills
• High level of communication with patients and staff
