Division 1 Registered Nurse -  Part Time – CBD Melbourne, VIC

Era Health is seeking a Division 1 Registered Nurse for our Medical and Allied Health clinic located in the CBD providing both general and occupational health services. This is a Part-time position, with no after-hours or weekend rosters, in a unique clinic providing total patient care for both private and corporate clients.


Key Selection Criteria
   

• experience in an Australian general practice medical clinic OR and occupational health setting
• RN AHPRA registration
• knowledge of MBS item numbers as used in General Practice settings
• excellent people skills with an ability to relate to patients in a compassionate and caring manner
• experience in undertaking sterilization duties and following infection control protocols in a general medical setting
• the ability to multi-task, work under pressure and as part of a team
• good computer skills 
• initiative to problem solve and ensure that routine clinical tasks are undertaken in a timely manner and according to company procedures
• understanding of privacy and confidentiality practices and principles within the Australian health system
• a general Can-Do attitude and a commitment to first-class patient care

Your duties will include

• Immunisation
• Set-up and Assisting for minor procedures.
• Wound Care
• Procedures including ECG, spirometry, audiology
• Flu/Travel Vaccine Clinics
• Triaging patients
• Infection Control
• Sterilisation
• Pathology collection
• Urine Drug screening according to Australian Standards
• Assisting Doctors
• Carrying out and completing paperwork for Pre Employment Medicals
• Management of stock including ordering, accurate labeling and storage
• Admin work

All the candidates need to have Australian experience in the same role.
