Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior MRI Radiographer at Bendigo Radiology. The Senior MRI Radiographer will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, performing MRI scans on patients, ensuring radiation safety protocols, and collaborating with the radiology team to ensure accurate and timely image interpretation. The role will also involve communicating with patients, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

- Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiations or equivalent

- Eligibility for A.S.M.I.R.T Statement of Compliance

- National Registration with AHPRA to practice as a Medical Imaging Technologist

- Victorian Department of Health Radiation Use Licence

- Evidence of CPD in line with registration requirements

- Clinical experience working as a radiographer in MRI

- Completion of Level I MRI accreditation with ASMIRT or similar

- Experience working in a tertiary health service would be advantageous

- Experience working in an MRI facility with a complex and diverse case load would also be beneficial.

- Hold a current Working with Children check and Police check BAppSc
