Short Course for Disability Released by NDIS Commission

The National Disability Insurance Scheme Quality and Safeguards Commission has started a free short course online to help employees in the disability sector to gain better knowledge about people with disabilities.

It is called “Quality, Safety and You” and has been built in close consultation with providers and participants to help workers under the NDIS to bring high quality services. 

The new Worker Orientation Module covers:

• Introduction to the NDIS
• The Duties of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
• Roles and accountabilities under the Code of Conduct including human rights, respect, and risk.

The new module is around 90 minutes to finish. At the end of the module, a certificate of completion will be given.
