Healthcare and medical professionals signed up on HealthcareLink can publish articles to develop and strengthen your professional identity by sharing your knowledge and expertise in your job. You can learn why should you write an article? in this article.
To publish articles on HealthcareLink, you must have a professional user account with a completed profile and be logged in.
Writing Article
Once you are logged in to professionals account, From the "Resources" Menu, select the "Write an Article".
You will be directed to the article writing page. This is where you can write your article, with the headline and body of the article.
To enhance the readability of your article and to keep the reader’s interest, you can attach a suitable image or link a video within the piece.
The article will be auto-saved as you type and create, you can access it as a draft and complete it later if you need.
Once you have finished writing an article, please click on the "Next" for article target and display settings.
Article Display Settings
Article Type:
Please select the category of the article whether it is news, general article, opinion, guides or product/service promotion etc. This helps us organise your content in the right area.
Post as:
Here you can select to publish the article as your self or on behalf of your organisation accounts ( for Employer or CPD/Service Provider).
Targeting the Audience for your Article
Profession Category:
Select the Top-level audience category you want this article to be displayed or targeted. You can select multiple categories if needed.
Tag Profession Types:
Here you can further target a profession within the top-level Audience. i.e general Practitioner, Physiotherapist, cardiologist .etc. You can select from the auto-population or type a new profession if required. We advise you to select from the auto-populated fields for better targeting.
Tag Topics:
Please select the topic tags that are relevant for the article. If it is generic you can leave it empty. i.e If an article related to skin cancer, please type "Skin Cancer" and enter. You can enter multiple topics.
Tag Speciality:
Here you can further target a member with the certain speciality. i.e Skin cancer, cardiology, business, cardiologist etc. You can select from the auto-population or type a new speciality if required. We advise you to select from the auto-populated fields for better targeting.
Once you have finished, you can "Save" the draft or, if you’re ready to publish, click on the green ‘Publish’ button.
Your article will be sent for approval by our team and will be approved by 24 hours.
Once published, it can be found on https://www.healthcarelink.com.au/articlelist.php and shared on your social media networks using the ‘Share’ buttons at the bottom of the article.

Are you a CPD or Healthcare Service Provider or Employer?
Healthcare Employers and CPD/Service Providers also can write and publish articles about services, latest news, industry news, latest products etc. This will help to promote their business to our healthcare professional members.
In order to publish an article, you should have a user account as Professional. The article can be tied to your professional profile and business profile.
You can also post the article as your self or on behalf of your Organisation (Employer / CPD Provider). In order to do that, you should log in to your Employer or Provider account and create a Professional account. This will link your Provider employer account with Professional account.
