Dental Assitant (Part Time or Full Time).

Join a team of Dentists, GPs, Occupational health practitioners and Allied health practitioners in a well-established clinic located in the heart of Melbourne CBD, two streets to train stations, trams just outside the clinic. The clinic is fully accredited with few experienced Dentists. DAs and Dental Coordinator.

The Clinic and role:

• You will be assisting a team of dentists and dental assistant in providing exceptional dental patient care.

• You will be supported by the Dental Coordinator

• Our ideal candidate will possess a great attitude and willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure the patient receives the best experience.

You:

• Possess a Cert III in Dental Assisting and/or have 1 year of dental assisting experience.

  • An excellent phone manner and great communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • Good computer skills

  • Initiative to problem solve
  • A general Can-Do attitude and a commitment to first-class patient care
  • Multi-task

  • Punctual and reliable

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Handling of incoming calls and appointment requests
• Recalls management
• Billing patients
• Maintaining stock
• Sterilisation and infection control
• Reception tasks as required
• Chair-side assisting during dental treatments
• Dental treatment preparation
• Patient care
• Delivering exceptional dental care and excellent customer service.
• Instrument reprocessing
• Receptionist duties
